XtreemStore and BeeGFS Combine Scalability, Performance, and User-Friendliness for HPC, AI, and Big Data

Schwäbisch-Gmünd, June 11th 2026 – GRAU DATA, provider of the object storage solution XtreemStore, and ThinkParQ, the provider of the parallel file system for high-performance and AI environments BeeGFS, have entered into a strategic partnership. The integration of XtreemStore and BeeGFS creates unique synergies: BeeGFS ensures parallel, high-performance data access, while XtreemStore uses intelligent tiering to place active data on fast media and inactive data on cost-effective tape archives. With the latest data migration interface in BeeGFS, the combination enables a scalable infrastructure that keeps pace with growing data volumes, as well as automated migration between BeeGFS clusters, cloud storage, and archives.
