Role Overview:

As the Product Manager for BeeGFS, you will define product strategy, collaborate with engineering and business teams, and ensure that BeeGFS continues to deliver unmatched performance and scalability for HPC, AI, and enterprise workloads. You will bridge technical development and market needs, driving innovation while ensuring seamless customer adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the product roadmap for BeeGFS, aligning with company goals and market trends.

• Gather and prioritise customer requirements, working closely with HPC users, enterprises, and research institutions.

• Collaborate with engineering to develop new features, optimise performance, and enhance scalability.

• Drive go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and messaging.

• Support sales and business development by providing technical insights and product expertise.

• Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the parallel file system and AI & HPC storage domain.

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.

• Manage product development for both on-premise and cloud-based BeeGFS deployments.

• Work with cloud providers to optimise BeeGFS performance and integration in cloud environments.

• Develop and implement hybrid storage strategies that balance cloud and on-premise infrastructures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in HPC, storage, or enterprise software.

• Strong understanding of file systems, parallel storage, and data management.

• Familiarity with BeeGFS, Lustre, GPFS, or similar technologies is highly desirable.

• Experience with on-premise and cloud storage solutions, including integration with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Ability to balance technical knowledge with business strategy.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience working in cross-functional teams with engineers, sales, and marketing
